The problem of solid waste exists since the creation of man.
According to a historian, since human beings inhabited the earth, they have generated, produced, manufactured, excreted, secreted,
discarded, and otherwise disposed of all manner of waste.
Ever since the beginning, humankind has been generating waste,
be it the carcass of the animals they slaughter for food, or the wood they use to make their shelter. With the advancement
of civilization, the waste people generate also evolved into a more complex nature. The industrial revolution paved the way
for the rise of the world of consumers were the earth became more polluted because of the increasing amount of nonbiodegradable
waste that are generated by people. At present, the populace generates waste more than the environment could handle.
